A LITTLE BACKGROUND...

Peter Newson started installing hardscapes in the high desert of Oregon in 2008. Learning on the job, the old fashioned way. He quickly realized he had found what he loved to do. Over the years, he worked with many talented people and learned how to construct all manner of outdoor spaces. From paver patios, decks and concrete stairs, to lush rain gardens and water features. Over time, he became more and more focused on stonework and masonry. Working all over the state, he eventually started working for Pete Wilson Stoneworks, a premier stonemasonry company in the northwest. It was here that the entire focus became building with stone using traditional methods. Under the guidance of some of the most gifted masons in the industry, he honed his skills to new levels and completed countless stone projects of all kinds. Eventually, he moved to the cumberland platueau with his family to start a business of his own.

Newson Stone and Masonry was launched with the mission of bringing the beauty of natural stone to everyone.
